Looking Ahead to the Week: Responding to His Love

The greatest legacies are rarely built through fame, wealth, or recognition. They are built through ordinary acts of faithfulness that point others toward God. This week, we will explore how Abraham, Joshua, David, and Paul left behind legacies that continue to inspire generations through obedience, wisdom, and discipleship.

This week, we are invited into a quieter, freer way of living—one marked not by holding tightly, but by trusting enough to let go.

Through the stories of Hagar, Leah, Eve, and Sarah, we will rediscover a deeper truth: you are not invisible, not forgotten, not overlooked. Your identity is not shaped by circumstance, but by the God who sees you, chooses you, knows you—and faithfully holds you.

Wisdom that looks like love refuses to remain self-focused. It notices who is hurting, speaks for those who are unheard, protects the vulnerable, lives generously, and pursues what is right and just. When God’s wisdom shapes us, our faith becomes visible—and our lives become a witness to His love.

August taught us that wisdom is more than knowing what God says—it is learning to live it. As we close The Way of Wisdom and step into September’s Faith in Practice, one question remains: Is what we believe becoming visible in how we speak, choose, love, serve, obey, and live each day?

Wisdom becomes real in the choices we make every day. This week, we’re learning how to commit our work to God, plan without controlling the outcome, choose integrity when no one is watching, practice self-control, and confront the quieter forms of pride that can keep us from receiving God’s wisdom.
