Looking Ahead at The Witness Journal: Seen, Chosen, and Known — Identity in Him
Opening Reflection
There are seasons when we wrestle quietly with the question, “Do I matter?”
Not always out loud. Not always consciously. But somewhere deep within, the longing remains—to be seen fully, chosen intentionally, and known completely.
This week at The Witness Journal, we step into that sacred space.
Through the lives of women in Scripture—mothers who carried both promise and pain—we will encounter a God who does not overlook, compare, delay, or forget. Instead, He meets each woman exactly where she is… and reminds her who she is.
And as we walk through each story Monday through Thursday, we won’t rush past what God reveals. Each Friday this month will be a gentle space to pause—to reflect, to gather what we’ve seen, and to rest in the truth that the God who sees, chooses, and knows us is also the One who holds us.
Because identity in Him is not something we hurry through… it’s something we return to, again and again.
And in their stories, we begin to see our own.
