Saturday Selah— Trusting God with Everything

This week has been a quiet but powerful invitation—to loosen our grip and deepen our trust.

We started by confronting the tension between worry and surrender, anchoring ourselves in the words of Gospel of Matthew 6:31–33 NIV, where Jesus reminds us not to chase what the world chases, but to seek first the Kingdom. From there, we were gently led into the assurance of Epistle to the Philippians 4:19 NIV—that God is not unaware, not distant, but actively supplying every need according to His riches.

As the days unfolded, we reflected on lived testimony through Book of Psalms 37:25 NIV, a witness that even across seasons, God sustains. We were reminded again in Second Epistle to the Corinthians 9:8 NIV that grace doesn’t trickle—it abounds, equipping us for every good work. And finally, we closed the week in truth with Book of Deuteronomy 8:18 NIV: that even our ability to produce, to build, to sustain—it all comes from God.

Taken together, this wasn’t just a week about provision.
It was a week about source.

Not what we have.
Not what we can do.
But Who it all flows from.

There is a quiet freedom in that realization.

Because if God is the source, then the pressure is no longer ours to carry.

We are not self-sustaining.
We are not self-made.
We are not the origin of what we’ve been entrusted with.

We are stewards.

And good stewardship doesn’t begin with striving—
it begins with surrender.

So today, we pause.

Not to figure anything out.
Not to solve.
Not to strive.

Just to be.

Find a comfortable place to sit.
Let your shoulders soften.
Rest your hands gently in your lap.

Close your eyes if you feel led.

We’re not rushing this moment.
We’re entering it.

Breathe in slowly through your nose…
God, You are my source.

Hold gently…

Exhale slowly through your mouth…
I release what was never mine to carry.

You provide all that I need.

Hold…

Exhale…
I let go of striving.

Breathe in…
You are faithful in every season.

Exhale…
I trust You more deeply.

If your mind wanders, gently return to the rhythm:

Inhale — God is my source.
Exhale — I trust Him completely.

Closing Reflection

You don’t have to force what God has already promised to provide.

You don’t have to carry what God has already claimed responsibility for.

And you don’t have to prove what God has already placed within you.

Let this truth settle deep:

The same God who called you
is the same God who sustains you.

So today, rest.

Not in what you’ve done—
but in who He is.
