Looking Ahead at The Witness Journal — Resurrection Sunday

Scripture Focus: Matthew 28:5–6 NIV
“The angel said to the women, ‘Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.’”

Opening Reflection

Easter is not simply a moment we remember—it is a reality we are invited to live in.

The empty tomb declares that death does not have the final word. Fear does not have the final word. Our past does not have the final word. Because Christ is risen, everything has changed.

This week, we move forward not just celebrating resurrection—but learning how to live from it.

What does new life in Christ look like in our daily decisions, our priorities, our stewardship, and our trust?

This Week’s Journey: Faithful Stewardship Begins

As we step out of Holy Week and into April’s theme—Faithful Stewardship: Trusting God with Everything—we begin to see that resurrection life reshapes how we view everything we have and everything we are.

Each day will gently guide us into a deeper understanding of surrender, trust, and honoring God with what He has entrusted to us.

📖 Daily Scripture Flow

Monday, April 6 — Psalm 24:1

Tuesday, April 7 — 1 Chronicles 29:14

Wednesday, April 8 — Matthew 6:21

Thursday, April 9 — Luke 16:10

Friday, April 10 — Proverbs 3:9–10

Closing Invitation

Because He is risen, we no longer live from fear—we live from fullness.
Because He is risen, we no longer grasp—we surrender.
Because He is risen, we no longer strive—we trust.

This week, let resurrection life shape your perspective.
Let it touch your choices.
Let it reorder your heart.

There is new life here—not just for eternity, but for today.
