This week, God revealed His heart through every devotion—welcoming the lonely, restoring the broken, correcting in love, adopting us as His children, and holding us with compassion. Along the way, we discovered that what we truly need is not freedom from guidance, but a relationship with the Father whose wisdom never fails. As Father’s Day approaches, Zephaniah 3:17 reminds us that God is not standing at a distance evaluating our performance. He is near, delighting in His children. True rest begins when we stop striving to earn His love and simply rest in the love that has always been ours.
This week reminded us that identity is not built by achievement, performance, or the opinions of others. From blessing and affirmation to inheritance and spiritual influence, every message pointed us back to one truth: God calls us by name before He calls us to any task. His voice remains the truest source of our identity, belonging, and worth.
Some of God’s deepest work happens long before the breakthrough arrives. This week, we reflected on fathers whose faithfulness was formed in ordinary moments—Joseph, Noah, Mordecai, and Boaz. Their stories remind us that the dramatic moments may be what we remember, but the faithful moments are what God used. Sometimes the greatest strength is not moving forward quickly, but remaining where God has planted us and trusting Him to renew us for the journey.
Sometimes we look for growth in changed circumstances, answered prayers, or visible results. Yet much of God’s work happens beneath the surface.
