Looking Ahead: Walking in Renewal
As we step into the final week of January, we are also gently closing the theme of resolutions — not because growth ends here, but because it is only just beginning.
Over the past several weeks, we’ve talked about delighting in God’s Word, waiting at wisdom’s gate, seeking Him first, abiding instead of striving, and allowing His Word to dwell richly within us. These were not meant to be temporary adjustments for a new year, but foundations — a starting posture for a life continually shaped by God’s presence and power.
This final week of January carries the theme: Walking in Renewal
Not self-effort. Not perfection.
But transformation that flows from God’s Spirit at work within us.
Scriptures for the Week Ahead:
Monday — Transformed from the Inside Out
📖 2 Corinthians 3:18 (NIV)
Tuesday — Strengthened with Power Within
📖 Ephesians 3:16 (NIV)
Wednesday — The Power That Brings New Life
📖 Romans 8:11 (NIV)
Thursday — God Finishes What He Begins
📖 Philippians 1:6 (NIV)
Friday — Becoming New in Christ
📖 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)
As we close this month, the invitation is not to abandon intentionality — but to shift from striving to walking.
From trying harder to trusting deeper.
From temporary goals to lasting spiritual formation.
May this week remind us that renewal is not a moment we achieve, but a life we live — step by step, with God.
A Prayer for the Week Ahead
Father,
Thank You for walking with us through every step of this journey. Thank You that renewal does not depend on our strength, but on Your Spirit working within us. As we enter this new week, continue shaping our hearts, renewing our minds, and transforming our lives from the inside out. Help us to trust Your process, rest in Your promises, and walk faithfully with You each day.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Leona
