Fruit takes time to grow, and so do we. God is the Gardener, Jesus is the Vine, and we are the branches. As we surrender, trust, study His Word, and obey, God prunes what no longer serves His purpose and cultivates the fruit He desires to produce in us over time.
Waiting can feel like wasted time when nothing seems to be changing. But if God wastes nothing, then the waiting matters too. Trusting His timeline means staying attentive in the stillness—praying, listening, learning, preparing, and surrendering again and again. Our times are in His hands, and so are we.
Obedience will not always fit neatly into our plans. Sometimes following Jesus interrupts our comfort, schedules, preferences, and timing. But inconvenience does not mean we are outside God’s will. Today, ask yourself: if convenience were no longer the deciding factor, what would obedience look like in the place God is calling you?
Make the plan, but leave room for God. Faith does not require us to abandon preparation; it teaches us to hold our plans with open hands. When God redirects us—or leads us toward what seems impossible—wisdom says, “I may not understand how, but I trust the One who does.”
There is a difference between asking God to bless a plan we have already decided upon and truly committing our work to Him. Wisdom invites us to seek God before determination takes over, surrendering not only the outcome but the plan itself. Have I surrendered this enough for God to change it?
Discover why God’s wisdom is worth more than anything the world can offer. Sometimes our greatest danger isn’t chasing something sinful—it’s quietly drifting from the Giver while pursuing His gifts. Wisdom gently interrupts our drift, redirects our hearts, and reminds us that nothing is more valuable than walking faithfully with God.
True wisdom isn’t found in the loudest voices or the latest opinions—it begins with God. When we seek His Word, trust His guidance, and listen for His voice above every other, He fills our hearts with understanding and faithfully directs our steps. His wisdom is always available to those who seek Him.
What if the Christian life isn’t about trying harder—but about walking closer? The Holy Spirit isn’t asking you to have everything figured out today. He’s simply inviting you to trust Him with your next step. One quiet “yes” at a time, He faithfully leads us into the freedom, peace, and purpose God has prepared for us.
What if the heaviest burden you’re carrying isn’t your schedule—it’s the belief that you have to prove yourself? Jesus never asked you to earn His love. He invites you to lay down striving, walk beside Him, and discover the freedom that only His grace can give.
You are not an accident, overlooked, or without direction. You are God’s workmanship, uniquely designed to reflect His love and fulfill the purpose He prepared long before you recognized it. You don’t have to create your purpose—you only have to walk with the One who already prepared it.
