Luke 14:28 reminds us that building anything of lasting value requires more than a quick start—it requires thoughtful consideration. Counting the cost is not fear, it’s alignment. When we pause with God, we gain clarity on what we’re called to carry and the strength to build it well.
Proverbs 11:24–25 (NIV) reveals a Kingdom principle that challenges everything the world teaches about security. While holding tightly promises stability, it is actually open-handed living that leads to true abundance. When we pour into others—through generosity, kindness, or presence—we step into God’s flow, where refreshing others becomes the very pathway to being refreshed ourselves.
Giving is not loss—it is participation in a kingdom flow where what we place in God’s hands is never diminished. In Luke 6:38 NIV, Jesus reminds us that the measure we use is not just about what we give, but the posture of our hearts, opening us to a deeper rhythm of trust where God provides with an abundance we could never create on our own.
