Pride is not always loud. Sometimes it looks like refusing help, needing to be right, pretending we are fine, or believing everything depends on us. But what if strength was never supposed to mean carrying everything alone? Humility is not weakness; it is the practice of trusting God enough to put something down.
Integrity is not proven when people are watching; it is revealed in the quiet choices no one else may ever see. God sees the truth of who we are, and walking honestly before Him gives us a freedom image management never can. When no applause comes, character still matters.
Make the plan, but leave room for God. Faith does not require us to abandon preparation; it teaches us to hold our plans with open hands. When God redirects us—or leads us toward what seems impossible—wisdom says, “I may not understand how, but I trust the One who does.”
There is a difference between asking God to bless a plan we have already decided upon and truly committing our work to Him. Wisdom invites us to seek God before determination takes over, surrendering not only the outcome but the plan itself. Have I surrendered this enough for God to change it?
