Faithfulness does not begin when God gives us more. It begins with what He has already placed in our hands. Our gifts, resources, relationships, opportunities, and responsibilities all matter. Instead of comparing our portion to someone else’s, today we are invited to ask: Am I faithfully stewarding what God has entrusted to me?
You are not an accident, overlooked, or without direction. You are God’s workmanship, uniquely designed to reflect His love and fulfill the purpose He prepared long before you recognized it. You don’t have to create your purpose—you only have to walk with the One who already prepared it.
Jacob was far from the man God was shaping him to become. He was flawed, uncertain, and still learning difficult lessons. Yet God was not finished with him. Sometimes the greatest reminder of God’s grace is realizing that He sees beyond who we are today to who we are becoming.
Joseph’s greatest contribution was not what he said, but that he stayed. Long before God revealed the responsibility, He was developing the character needed to fulfill it. The same God who prepared Joseph is still preparing His people today.
The disciples misunderstood Jesus’ mission until revelation transformed their understanding. In the same way, God often reshapes our perspective over time, teaching us that true greatness is found not in status, but in surrender, faithfulness, and purpose.
Bathsheba’s story reminds us that God does not abandon imperfect people. Even through brokenness, grief, and past mistakes, He continues writing redemption, purpose, and grace into our lives.
