People-pleasing can feel like love, loyalty, or keeping the peace—until we realize we are abandoning ourselves to avoid disappointing others. God calls us deeper: to examine our patterns, confront self-sabotage, establish healthy boundaries, and choose faithful obedience even when others misunderstand us. Freedom begins when God gets the final word.
