Many believers spend years trying to earn what Christ has already secured. Conditioned by the world to believe acceptance must be earned, we often carry that mindset into our faith. Yet Romans 8 reminds us that through Jesus, we have already been adopted into God’s family. The Christian life is not about striving to become God’s children—it is about learning to live as the children God has already declared us to be. Through Christ, we belong.
